Brief Description

Have strong partnerships with other stakeholders in our province. With the Ministry of Education, we provide Short Term Programs, which teach a specific skill sets for 8 weekends each year. With the Ministry of Education, CNIB and local school boards, we partner to provide one family weekend each year, in a different community each time, focusing on the needs and strengths of those families. We have partnered with the Ministry of Education to provide math workshops for our Vision Itinerant Teachers in our province. We provide 2 week long annual residential camps for children who are blind or have low vision.
VIEWS Music Camp for Braille Users is an incredible, residential camp which provides braille music training, drama, and multiple instrument lessons in a fun camp setting.
VIEWS Camp Freedom is a weeklong independent living skills camp, which has a different focus each year, always with an emphasis on social skills and having fun.
VIEWS Family Week at Lake Joseph is an opportunity for families to get away and play together. It is a camp for the entire family, where the children have the opportunity to waterski, wakeboard, canoe, sail, watertube, swim and wall climb.
