Brief Description

Part of the Library of Congress National Library Service network, the Muskegon Area District Library for the Visually & Physically Disabled serves the residents of Muskegon & Ottawa Counties in Michigan who cannot use or read ordinary printed material because of physical limitations.

Services Offered

  • Library Services
    • Provides talking books, large-print books, and audiocassettes for blind and physically handicapped persons.

  • Community Outreach Programs
    • Offers presentations for groups (service organizations, nursing homes, senior centers, assisted living facilities). Offers in-home visits to new library patrons.
