Brief Description

The Office of Aging & Disability Services (OADS), within the DHHS is responsible for planning, developing, managing, and providing services to promote independence for elders and adults with brain injuries, intellectual and physical disabilities through the provision of services including evidence-based prevention programs and comprehensive home and community-based services including Adult Protective Services and Public Guardianship and Conservatorship Programs. OADS fulfills its mission through: Policy and Prevention, Intervention and Care Management, Community Partnerships, and Accountability and Information Services.

    • Provides referrals to Area Agencies on Aging and information on other local aging services.
