Anna Swenson’s Advice on Communication Skills
Anna M. Swenson, M.Ed., is a teacher of the visually impaired in the Fairfax County Public Schools in Fairfax, Virginia. She has published articles on her approach to teaching students who are visually impaired in numerous professional journals such as the Journal of Visual Impairment & Blindness, RE:view, and Teaching Exceptional Children, and published Beginning with Braille: Firsthand Experiences with a Balanced Approach to Literacy and coauthored the Braille Trail Activity Book with Frances Mary D’Andrea for AFB Press. She has presented workshops at professional conferences nationwide.
