Brief Description

The Multi-University Consortium for Teacher Preparation Program in Sensory Impairments is a cooperative effort between the Special Education Departments of the University of Utah and Utah State University. This program stresses family-centered practices which are sensitive to cultural diversity.

  • Personnel Preparation
    • Offers courses which present a holistic approach to the education of children and youth who are Deaf and hard of hearing, and blind or visually impaired and deafblind with an age-appropriate emphasis on developmentally appropriate practices and academic achievement.
