• Maintains Career connections, CEC's Online Job Bank, which includes a job posting service and resume referral service designed to match the right educator with the right job.


• Professional Training
• Holds an annual convention in which members present their work and practices in more than 600 sessions. Offers other opportunities for members to exchange ideas through online discussion forums, study groups, and other distance learning opportunities.


• Advocacy
• Through CEC's Children's Action Network (CAN), influences federal, provincial, and local policies on special education.
