We Need You!

We need your help! FamilyConnect is currently working with an outside consulting firm to evaluate the FamilyConnect program. This is your chance to let us know how we are doing and what you would like to see from FamilyConnect in the future. Take this short survey and you will have a voice in our future plans. Help us build the case for the tools and resources that you need!

What’s more: by completing the survey you will be entered into a drawing for a $25 Amazon Gift card. Please feel free to share this link with anyone you know who is raising a child who is blind or visually impaired; you do not have to be a current FamilyConnect member to weigh in.

This site is really about you. FamilyConnect wouldn’t exist without the parents and grandparents and family members of visually impaired children who gather together to support each other, share stories and concerns, offer sympathy when things are hard, and express delight for small triumphs. Your answers to this survey will help us better understand the needs and perspectives of individuals like you who are parenting blind children, or children with multiple disabilities. We also want to assess the level of your satisfaction with site features, as well as capture any knowledge or tangible benefits you, your child, or family may have acquired as a result of your interactions on FamilyConnect.

Please note that all data that we collect will be kept completely confidential. We will not use any identifying information in our analyses or reports, and no one other than the evaluator and AFB staff will see the aggregate information.

If you have any questions about this survey please contact Scott Truax at struax@afb.net.

Thank you all for your participation and support! Your feedback is invaluable to AFB in our efforts to continue to help you and your loved ones manage the practical and emotional challenges of blindness and visual impairment.
