The National Eye Health Education Program (NEHEP) of the National Eye Institute (NEI) has created free resources and tools in English and in Spanish that you can download or link to, to share with other parents and your community. Their site is loaded with information about resources, tool kits, literature, and information on eye diseases, fact sheets, ideas for community activities, and games for kids all to promote eye health education. This is great awareness for your child with a visual impairment, their brothers and sisters, for yourselves as parents, and grandparents.
